Our Institution was established in the 1894 and is in existence for the past 124 years. It was in the year 1916, our institution was functioning for the students who were with SSLC and secondary qualification in the name of ' Government Secondary and Training School for Mistresses. Our institution was jointly with the Higher Secondary and became a separate entity in the year 1995. Our Institution is exclusively for women, situated in the heart of the Coimbatore City. Our Buliding is in the octagonal shape standing erect in the midst of the busy city on the foot hills of Ooty.

Coimbatore, also known as Kovai, is the second largest city in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is a major commercial centre and an industrial hub of Tamil Nadu and is known as the Manchester of South India. It is a metropolitan city. We feel happy to say that we are near to the KONIAMMAN TEMPLE which is one of famous temples in Tamil Nadu.. The Institution has gained a very good reputation of its own with highly qualified, dedicated and experienced Teaching Faculty Members since its inception. We quench the thirst for knowledge of our students and we prepare them as perfect individuals to meet the competitive world of tomorrow.

We have been working up to the expectations of the Government of Tamil Nadu, Student Teachers and our Parents. Academic support is got from the SCERT, Chennai and we follow the Calendar of Activities issued by the SCERT. The proud history conveys that the year of inception of the institute was 11-12-1894. In pride we convey, that our institute is aged 125 years old and since then producing 100 % results. The institute is celebrating its CENTENARY this year- 2016 .
